The software layer for pedestrian infrastructure
Argis Labs is an AI infrastructure software company. We help civil engineering firms deliver pedestrian infrastructure and ADA compliance projects faster, more accurately, and more profitably.
Why we exist
Every city in America is required to understand and maintain its pedestrian infrastructure - and almost none can. The gap isn't engineering knowledge; the firms that serve these cities have plenty. The gap is throughput: manual collection, manual measurement, manual reporting, in an industry facing a structural shortage of civil engineers.
We build the machine that closes that gap. Argis transforms raw infrastructure data - from robots, field crews, or datasets that already exist - into engineering-grade assessments, evidence, and ADA transition plans. The firms we power do what only licensed professionals can do: apply judgment, take responsibility, and seal the work. Everything else, the platform handles.
What we believe
Accessible infrastructure is not a compliance checkbox - it's whether a person using a wheelchair, a walker, or a stroller can get where they're going. The fastest way to fix millions of broken sidewalk miles is to make assessing them radically cheaper and faster for the people already contracted to do it.
How we work
Firms own the relationship
We don't compete for municipal contracts. The client, the record, and the seal belong to the engineering firm - Argis is the engine behind them.
Collection-agnostic, always
Robots, field crews, archives - the source never changes the output. One pipeline, one standard, in any market, immediately.
Evidence-grade or nothing
Every finding carries its measurement, its confidence, its imagery, and its citation. If it can't stand up to review, it doesn't ship.
From sidewalks to the whole pedestrian network
Sidewalk ADA assessments
The most urgent, budgeted, legally mandated compliance need - citywide sidewalk assessments and ADA transition plans, delivered through engineering firms.
The entire pedestrian ecosystem
Trails, parks, campuses, pedestrian bridges, transit facilities, plazas - the same platform, the same evidence standard, every place people walk.
The operating system
The AI operating system for pedestrian infrastructure intelligence and compliance - the software layer powering how engineering firms assess, manage, and maintain the walkable built environment.

Built at Innovation Depot, in a city rebuilding its own infrastructure story. We think that's fitting.
